Immersion assembly

First day back at school having a 2 week holiday. Every teacher in our school had a show first team up was team 1. Team 1 did a show about earning money by doing jobs for there own market Miss Lau, Miss George and the others were throwing coins but inside it was chocolate.  Team 2 made a movie about ice cream.  Team 3 made a movie dancing to the YMCA because they are going to be learning about what they want to be when they grow up.  Mr.Blakey was a funny police man.  Team 4 did a show about what you should do when you find money.  Would you spend it or give it back?  Team 5 did a project about being financially responsible.

My favourite part of the assembly was at the beginning when Mr. Burt was auctioning off cool prizes like rugby and basket balls and chocolate.  Kids were able to bid on the items and they were allowed to keep them.

 THIS PAST 6 WEEKS WE HAVE PLAN BUY AND BUILD MR WISEMAN IS A CREATOR  HE HELP US BUIL IT AND THANK KAVALIKU FOR THE HARD WORK HE DONE.

here is a list how we made it.

1. Hammer and drill the wood together.

2.Then get some wheels from mitre 10 mega and we buy 4 wheels and but two big ones at the back and to small one in the front.

3. Next thing you get a chair but make sure it place stick and old so brake the top chair and get a bit to drill it in

4.And get the bottom part of the chair on put it in front of the kart.

5. Then get a rope not to thick and put it in the whole and put it together with the front wood for our steering wheel.

6 Then last but not least get one little wood for our brake, so every time you are going fast  in the kart you use the brakes to slow down the kart.

We have test the Kart and it go so GREAT, the steering is nice and smooth, the seat is nice and convert and the brake works good.

Anzac Memorial

OUR MEMORIAL

As I stood and looked at the memorial I was shocked thinking about all those people who died fighting for our country. I wondered how scary it must have been for the soldiers knowing they had to go and fight. Two armies on each side and a gap in the middle that is called No man’s land. One man runs to try and attack them, he dies. More people run to attack they die as well.

Looking down at the soldiers with their eyes close. Kids living without a brother or a dad. WW1 Is a TERRIBLE noise shooting yelling screening to men to men like "back up back up.  Families waiting for their sons and husbands to return home safe. Family praying to make the It back not injured.

Hugging to see their son going to war is like you don't wanna leave them. Every morning praying to Jesus and everyone in heaven to let my son fight good. The ship averred back to shore, hoping their comeback with a big smile.
